As I said earlier, I wanted to try new and different things in literature. Reading the same types of books over and over gets boring. So, I decided to try to read a comic book and I enjoyed it. Now I continued that experimentation with trying a new type of book. I decided to read a Japanese light novel called Spice and Wolf. The book is about a traveling merchant named Craft Lawrence. Lawrence feels alone when trading. One day at night Lawrence discovers a girl is sleeping in his wagon. But he finds that she is not normal and has wolf ears and a tail. She goes by the name of Holo the Wise Wolf. She is a wolf god in human form, she can morph into a giant wolf. But, Holo needs to travel north to a town called Yoitsu, her hometown. The series is the story of Holo and Lawrence's journey to Yoitsu.
I enjoyed the book much more than I thought I would. Some people would consider this book a romance(in reality it has less romance than the Percy Jackson Series), but I would consider it to be an adventure and comedy book. Since Lawrence is a merchant, the book has several pages explaining medieval economics and trading. It focuses also on character development and really sets up Lawrence and Holo as dynamic characters and how they change throughout the book. I would highly recommend this book if you want to try something new or if you are taking Ap microeconomics(No I am being serious). The suspense will keep you going.

Marvel Civil War Follow-Up
Marvel recently announced Captain America: Civil War. I wanted to talk about what I think Marvel will change.
Summary: A team of super heroes are reckless and let 600 people die in an explosion. As a result the government passes a law that forces superheroes to register their identities. Captain America resists believing the law violates his rights. Ironman is the opposite. He will do whatever it takes to make sure something like that explosion never happens again. The Avengers start taking sides. Ironman and his supporters hunt down Captain America and his followers, killing them if he has too.
While the general story line will remain the same, the causation of the feud between Captain America and Ironman will be different. I think Captain America will have a disagreement with morality and he will be upset that Ironman created Ultron. After Ultron ended up killing a lot of people In Avengers Age Of Ultron, Ironman has to take the blame. This is my my theory for how the film adaptation starts the feud between Ironman and Captain America.

Marvel Civil War Comics
Today, I'm trying something new. I am a huge fan of Marvel movies but I never read their comics. I wanted to read a comic book for a change. I decided to read the Marvel Civil War comics. A brief summary: A team of super heroes are reckless and let 600 people die in an explosion.
What I liked about the comic book was the entire story was shown, not told. All characters thoughts and actions were expressed by dialog not narration.

Inheritance: A Brief Review
Inheritance is a really long book. My feelings for this book were mixed. Let me start off with the positive elements of the book. I really enjoyed the main battle between Eragon and King Galbatorix. Along with this the ending was nice and had no loose ends. All chapters in the book were significant and remained interesting. Now comes the negative effects about the book. The main problem for me was the length of the book. The book is over 900 pages, by the time most readers have probably forgotten details from the beginning. I felt like the book could have been split into two more parts (Inheritance and Brazingr were supposed to be one book originally.) Overall, I would give Inheritance a 4 / 5.

Review of Alex Rider:Scorpia Rising
Alex Rider:Scorpia Rising is probably my favorite book in the series. It's also the last book. My first reason for why I enjoyed this book is that this book is the first book in the series to feature chapters from the villain's perspective. This just makes the book seem refreshing after the previous 8 books were all from the main character's perspective. Since we get the villain's perspective, It allows for move character development. The reader can understand why he does what he does. Also [SPOILER ALERT] His caregiver, Jack, is killed. This brings a more emotional story and gives the reader a sadder tone that we really haven't felt since the first book. Overall, I would give Scorpia Rising a 4.5 out of 5.

Blood of Olympus: Brief Non- Spoiler review
Overall Rating: 4.2/5
Why did I give this rating:
Overall while the book was well written with a good story, I left feeling empty and disappointed. Perhaps this was because the book was over hyped. If this was a regular book I would have been satisfied, but this book is a Rick Riordan novel and with that I expected more. Also, we need to keep in mind this book was the ending to the entire Greek and Roman Saga. Along with this, we also have to consider The Last Olympian, probably one of the greatest books of all time.Blood of Olympus failed to actually raise the bar from The Last Olympian unfortunately, and with the significance of this book, it have been better.

SPOILER ALERT: Please do not read this if you have not read House of Hades
After reading the fourth installment in the Heroes of Olympus series, House of Hades, fans like me are anticipating the fifth and final book in the series, Blood of Olympus. While I am exited for the fifth and final book, I am also saddened at the same time because this book is the last novel that will contain the same characters the same story line. Basically, this book ends my favorite series that I have been reading from my childhood. With that said, lets discuss Blood of Olympus. Now, finally at the end of House of Hades, the whole team, Jason, Piper, Leo, Percy, Frank and Hazel, are finally united for the their last battle. Here are my predictions for what may happen: I can predict that in the book, the 7 members of the team will have to stop Gaea from awakening, rather than fight her themselves. This means that they will be fighting an army of giants, because they are in service to Gaea, rather than Gaea herself. We also need to keep in mind that Leo swore on the river of Styx that he would return for Calypso, I think this will be interesting to see how it will play out. Meanwhile with Camp Half - Blood and Camp Jupiter, we can expect a war to come soon, but we can also expect that at last minute, war will be avoided and there will be peace among both camps. And finally, we can also assume that Leo will begin to make several upgrades to the Argo II.
Overall, I believe that this final book will be excellent, as all of its predecessors were.
Blood of Olympus comes out tomorrow (October,7).
